Mauritius is about 2,000 kilometers off the southeast coast of the African continent. Most Mauritians are multilingual: English, French, and Creole are spoken. The island is surrounded by a breathtaking clear turquoise sea creating an oasis of peace and tranquility.

Mosquitos/bugs: There are hardly any mosquitos in Mauritius but we do advise for you to pack mosquito repellant incase

Visa: There is NO visa required to visit Mauritius unless you plan on staying for more than 3 months

Driving: A valid international license is required to rent cars

Temperature: between 20 and 25 degrees in May/June so pack some layers

Airport: Approx. 50 minutes drive from SSR International airport Mauritius (MRU)
