Rk & Kiran, A love story in Mauritius

Mauritius is a very hot country so we recommend to pack light clothing such as shorts, dresses, vest tops, t-shirts and skirts. For the wedding events, women can wear Asian or English clothing such as evening gowns, sari’s, lenghas, salwaar kameez and cocktail dresses. Men can wear kurta ,short or long sleeved shirts, trousers, suits and tuxedos For the Sikh wedding in the gurdwara, please remember to bring a scarf/chuni/dupatta to cover your head. For the Asian event days, we recommend Asian wear for both men and women. . As some of the events may involve walking on sand, women are advised to pack flip-flops or wedges. Men can pack shoes, flip-flops or sandals. If you are keen on hiking, it is advisable to pack a pair of hiking shoes or trainers. We recommend that you pack a cardi/sweater/jumper or two in case the evening breeze gets chilly. Don’t forget to pack swimwear!

Dress code: Asian attire

Women can wear Asian wear such as suits, lenghas, sari’s etc, head must be covered with chuni/dupatta/scarf during Sikh wedding which is to be held in the Gurdwara. You can change n between ceremonies if you wish to.

Men can wear Asian wear or smart clothing such as tailored wear.
